 We are a group of three surgeons who are all board certified by the American College of Surgeons and trained in transplant programs accredited by the United National Organ Sharing Professional Standards Committee. Our mission is to provide modern, comprehensive surgical care to patients with liver failure, kidney failure or tumors/disease of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. The Hartford Transplant Associates are the premier surgical practice in Connecticut specializing in the surgical treatment of patients with renal failure, liver disease, and tumors of the liver, bile ducts, and pancreas. We also specialize in complex surgical procedures of the gallbladder and biliary tract. We are the only group in Connecticut performing liver transplants and minimally invasive laparoscopic donor nephrectomy. The three surgeons in our group are members of the surgical staff at Hartford Hospital, CT Children's Medical Center and John Dempsey Hospital. They also have Faculty appointments at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Our group is committed to providing state of the art surgical care, performing clinical research, and educating the next generation of surgeons.
